Booking an Initial Session for Exercise Classes

An initial session prior to starting classes is important for the following reasons

  • Your physio can understand your goals and help set specific functional goals.

  • Your physio will take a thorough history including any injuries, surgeries or aches and pains you may have. They will also ask about any health conditions that you may have that may need to be taken into consideration.

  • Your physio will conduct a full body assessment as will as relevant tests specific to your goals. The physical assessment will help our staff to tailor exercises to your needs and goals.

  • Gain an understanding of the classes and things to be aware of focus areas and precautions.

  • We have a record for our staff so that you can attend classes with a number of different physios, knowing that they are aware of your specific needs and goals.

  • Your health fund may require you to attend in order to claim for sessions
